Tips and AdviceS

for Your Beach Photography Session

Time of Day:

The best time for beach photos is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The light is softer and more flattering, and the beach is usually less crowded.

Clothing Choices:

Wear light, airy clothing that matches the beach vibe. Whites and pastels work great, but feel free to add a pop of color. Avoid busy patterns.

Hair and Makeup:

Keep hairand makeup simple and natural. The beach is a casual setting, and natural looks tend to photograph best. If you have long hair, consider the wind, which can range from light to moderate.

Hydrate and Protect:

Stay hydrated and apply sunscreen generously. Bring water and maybe a hat for between shots.

Props and Accessories:

Consider bringing props like a beach blanket or a hat to add variety and personality to your photos.

Relax and Have Fun:

The best photos come when you are relaxed and having fun. Don’t stress too much about posing; let your natural interactions and joy shine through.

Communicate Your Vision:

Discuss your ideas and expectations with your photographer beforehand. Whether you want candid shots, romantic poses, or family fun, make sure they know what you’re aiming for.

Be Prepared for Weather:

Check the weather forecast and be prepared for wind, sun, or sudden changes. A light jacket or wrap can be helpful. If it’s lightly cloudy, don’t worry—the soft light from the clouds helps the photos.

Footwear:

Barefoot is often best for beach photos, but if you prefer shoes, choose something casual and easy to remove.

Follow the Photographer’s Guidance:

Trust your photographer to guide you. They will look for the most natural and organic poses for your photos.

Family Photoshoot Tip:

In family photography sessions, our goal is always to capture the best shot, filled with genuine and authentic moments. To achieve this, the behavior and attitude of all family members play an important role, especially when it comes to the little ones. We kindly ask that parents guide their children during the session, helping create a fun and relaxed experience. This allows us to capture natural smiles and expressions that will make your photos truly memorable. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories together!

Stay Positive:

Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. Stay positive, go with the flow, and trust your photographer to capture beautiful moments.

Seaweed (Sargassum):

Don’t worry if there is sargassum on the beaches at your hotel. You can always ask us to suggest cleaner beach spots. If that’s not possible, we will find the best angles and edit it out of your photos.

Photo Delivery:

We only commit to storing your edited photos for a maximum of 3 months and RAW files for 1 month. We suggest downloading your photos once received and not taking more than 3 weeks to select your photos.
